There are several different programs Alameda residents can take advantage of to help offset the cost of an e-bike. Each program has different qualifications and requirements, as described here.

Alameda Municipal Power Rebate

AMP offers residential customers a rebate after purchase for customers who purchase new E-Bikes. Read through the terms and conditions and applications carefully as not all bikes qualify.

AVA Community Energy Rebate

Residents of Alameda County can qualify for instant rebates and purchase bikes with participating bike shops.

Bay Area Air Quality District Clean Cars for All
Low-income residents who replace an old polluting car with an e-bike can receive a $7,500 prepaid gift card to purchase an e-bike and related accessories. Remaining funds can be loaded on a Clipper card for transit.
