Bike to Work Day is May 12, 2016! This popular annual event is only possible with the support of volunteers. BWA invites you to join our team this year to help make Alameda’s Bike to Work Day the best ever!!

It’s here! After months of hard work, the sixth edition of Bike Walk Alameda’s popular Bicycle & Walking Map is hot off the presses and available at a list of locations across the island.
Our map is THE resource for finding the most walkable, bikeable streets in Alameda, along with bike shops, repair stations, lockers and more. It’s also got tips for safe walking and biking, helmet and road marking basics and lists of helpful phone numbers and useful websites.
Bike Walk Alameda would like to thank our sponsors for making this new edition of the map possible. The list includes the City of Alameda Public Works Department; Alameda Bicycle; Alameda Municipal Power; Tracy Zollinger, L.Ac.; the East Bay Regional Park District; and Tucker’s Super Creamed Ice Cream.
